Description: Drupal Developer
We are currently seeking an drupal developer located in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia or surrounding area’s. We require a developer that has experience working on the back-end of Drupal 6 and 7. This person will feel comfortable working with Git, Drush, and the command line. Knowledge of the Compass framework, SaSS, and JS are all pluses.

Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple projects, maintain a cutting edge skill set and be able to deliver a great UI experience.

Required Skills:

  • Must have at least Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field OR possess equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of hand coding HTML/CSS/PHP. JS is a plus
  • Must have experience using Drupal 7
  • Must have knowledge of custom theming, CCK/views, panels, drush
  • Must have experience in MySQL and SQL based queries
  • Must have a high aptitude for visual design, interaction design and usability
  • Must have experience troubleshooting or modifying Drupal modules
  • Must be able to function in a team environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills

Desired Skills:
Experience with one or more of the following technologies or skills a plus:

  • HTML5, JQuery, AJAX
  • Custom module development a plus
  • Knowledge of cross browser development issues
  • Knowledge of Section 508 compliance coding standards
  • Knowledge of Mobile/Responsive development (iPhone/Android)
